Ok so did search and MCN rated this R&G cover the best cover to use for some outdoor storage. Anybody have other suggestions or have any experience with the R&G Superbike cover used on a Ducati (1098).

here is the review:

Here is a place in the state to buy it:

I had a Dowco forEVER. Worked great. Lockable over the bike. Just bulky to store anywhere and you gotta uncover it after rains/snow as it holds too much moisture under it and it is hard on the bike long term.

I think I paid like $65 back in '97 for one and it was still going strong when I sold it a year or so ago.....

i don't have any feedback on the one you are describing but here is what i'm getting for my bike. granted it is not a portable cover but i like the idea of it not touching the bike.

I totally forgot about the cycleshell, good call! I like this better then "thebikebarn" b/c is come with a hard floor which i think allows you to use your front and rear stands correct? Thats perfect!

It comes with four 10" spikes that you can drive through holes in the floor to help anchor it. The floor is heavy duty ABS and the whole thing weighs around 50lbs, not to mention the 400+ pounds of bike sitting on it. On top of all that it's rounded shape helps direct wind around it, mine has sat out in thunder storms for two years and has never budged. I have had to re-drive the spikes a time or two as the wind (especially w/o a bike in it) does tend to work them loose. Definitely use the spikes or throw a sand bag in it if you plan on not having a bike inside for an extended time.
