Outdoor A/C unit froze up and also indoor coil froze also?

Air quit working i checked the outside unit and it was froze all pipes insides and the pipes leading from the unit to the house were froze. Looked at the coil inside the house and it is frozen also. I have a split system unit and was wondering if anyone knew what the problem could be. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
