Ok I live in newark de and cricket usesa the same band as metro .this is the new 1700 aws so my 8830 isn't useabe as it ain't aws what happens if I sign up for a area code that uses the 1900 band like verizon but all my calls come from delaware

You would end up with nothing unless you had roaming on your acct. All your calls would be roaming. Get a Tri-Band phone.

That would be a aws phone 1700 band which is new .which means a cricket or metropcs specfic phone

pretty much that or wait for the AWS BB coming out in the Fall...more like Xmas if it happens...>_> may not be until next year
