Out of Character Things You Have Been Listening To

I don't know about anyone else but I have been listening to a lot of music that is pretty uncharacteristic of me. Here are some samples:

Nerf Herder
Joey Cape and Tony Sly - Acoustic Album
Elton John
The Bangles - yeah I said it
Hank Williams - the first and the third (absolutely no Hank jr.)

Anybody else???
 
nothing much is really out of character for me anymore, thers used to be such a thing..
though Enigma and Johny Cash are still, pretty much about the main OOC ones for me..
and Matisyahu, too
 
there's nothing out of character i listen to because i can listen to almost anything, from sigur ros and bloc party, to nina simone and system of a down, if it's out of character , i don't like it....
 
Well.

I was being laughed at the other day at college.. Me and Josh had a Meat Loaf fest , which was so much fun, then went and listened to Run DMC and Salt n Pepa.

Yeah.. Its not really out of character. But I get laughed at for it. I guess that counts.


Oh, and I was listening to Cyndi Lauper earlier :o:
 
I've been listening to some old school hip hop stuff that I used to really circle jerk.

- public enemy
- africa barabaattaa
- de la soul
- eric b and rakim


Besides that I'm really itching to listen to zeitgeist but meh.

I'm not really a reggae person but my Matisyahu cd has gotten some heavy play time for the past week. And I'm starting to listen to more and more rap...

got to agree with jackhammer on this one.. i dont really consider anything i listen to out of character. a while back i was really into the selftitled album 'white flight' and its pretty ****ing weird, but i like weird **** soooo
 
Who would have guessed, Levi listening to rap? I think rap has grabbed your balls and just won't let go. I mean of course with all the different threaRAB you have made on various artists it is only natural to believe you are hooked. May LimeWire fuel all of your music wants.

Matisyahu is one pretty sweet rapping rabbi. Have seen him stage dive at one of his concerts, he is one hardass.
