...biological father wants to...? ...see her and she is almost 12 years old! She is our son's daughter and our grand daughter in every sense of the word.
Now, after no interest or contact, after 12 years, the biological father has served our daughter-in-law with legal papers for visitation.
Our grand daughter knows that another man helped make her but knows our son as her Dad. (We have always answered her questions honestly.) She is a very mature and intelligent girl and has said plainly that she is not ready to see the biological father.
We have hired a lawyer to help our daughter-in-law deal with this. But I would like to know if anyone on here has any advice or experience in a similar situation.
