first of all when we moved out, we asked if we should shampoo/steam the carpet and he said no he would take care of it. when we left the walls were nice clean and white! and when we moved IN the carpet was supposdley new but all the tenants around us said it was a false statement, he called today saying he was going to charge us 1000$ for new carpet and paint, is there anything we can do? AND wouldnt they have to paint and clean thee carpets no matter what???
