I have just filled out the FASFA application, I am an independent student, will be starting school in fall2009 and was scored with a high (EFC) = 7426, my problem is I lost my job last year, I am 46 years old, live currently with a friend and have no income, why is the score so high? Any advise is greatly appreciated.
