Ouch Ps3 Ouch

i know it sucks and all to say it out loud but if sony did move this console last year or even earlier this year, the wii would be obsolete right now. if sony had just been able to make the move, they and the 360 would have the upper hand, maybe to the point where nintendo couldnt make up any ground.

having said that, nintendo drew the luck of the cards by waiting until their console was damned near perfect and had an upper hand in manufacturing, and had a simultaneous release with sony, making sony look like a bunch of fools
 
Wow, pretty much just replace PS3 with 360 in that article and you have one they probably wrote last year.

I can't stand how people judge a console after it has been out A MONTH.

The 360 got just as much shit when it came out and it is a nice system now. The PS3 will be fine.

BTW, I own a 360, PS3, and Wii.
 
I'm not a fanboy, but with all this bad press and whatnot, it's hard not to think the PS3 is going to brick. If Nintendo was in Sony's shoes, everybody left and right would be calling it a flop/failure.

You also have to understand how much of a change this is for Sony. Last gen they were king shit worldwide, now they've sold approx 1/4th the consoles Nintendo in the global market.
 
its amazing how everyone convenitently forgot about the ps2 launch?

it shipped in oct. with like 500,000 units and the next big shipment wasnt untill january.. everyone said "oh man sony screwed up they are gonna fail" and yet they some how sold 91 million of them to date, and even out sold the xbox which was a more powerful system and had a bigger budgt?

give it time, then write your doomsday reviews

*edit* if only half the people who bought PS2s buys a PS3 sony will still own more market share then nintendo and be neck and neck with microsoft.
 
yes but the playstation 2 had a one year head start. ps2 was launched oct 2000. the xbox and gamecube didnt come out until nov 2001
