Other than the Clean Water Act, what has congress done for the environment?

So, other than the Clean Water Act of 1972 and its amendment in 1987, has Congress done anything in regards to the environment and/or reducing CO2 emission?
So that I don't piss anyone off, please be aware that I ask only because I need resources for a project in my earth science course. I meant for my question to be objective and unbiased, so if it came across...differently, I apologize. Please no one get upset and cause yourself an undue hemmoroid (ie: vote_usa_first). Thank you and I appreciate your help everyone.

What do you want congress to do...Ban breathing (we exhale CO2)?

Breathing accounts for about 90% of daily CO2 emissions.

CO2 is required for life on this planet. Trees love the stuff.

Carbon Dioxide is what we all breathe out. Carbon Monoxide is the bad stuff. And its no surprise that politicians want to tax the stuff we all breathe out - that's government for you.
