I've actually been looking for this film for a while; many different websites mention that a subtitled version has been released by Films by Jove, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. What is the company's website?

According to a post on IMDB's message board for the film posted in early 2007, Jove's subtitled DVD was available from the web address (http://store.russiananimation.com/snowqueendvd.html), however it seems now the website is gone for some reason. I will look to see if it can be had other places.

EDIT: Even though Jove's site seems to be gone, the DVD can be ordered from Amazon Marketplace and is put out by a studio called SouzMultFilm. Amazon link
This DVD has both Russian cyrillic and English on the cover and Jove's name is present.

I don't think the film has been remastered or cleaned up, however. So the quality of the sub Snow Queen might be pretty cruddy on DVD.

And we've got Winx Club being used as an example of Italian animation, but yet no mention of Bruno Bozzetto, one of the funniest animators ever? Tut tut, I say.

The animated is done in France, but the writing is purely American.
