Why is there a stigma with people who suffer with BiPolar disoder in American Soceity?When almost 1 percent of the adult population has it. They're just normal people who have chemical imbalances....They tend to be artistically inclined, not violent. So where does the stigma come from?

probably b/c many (of course not all) ppl who have bipolar have a "mean" side to them (or at least that's what others would think). That "mean/angry" side vs. the normal one is probably what causes it.
