OTC allergy relief

I am looking for an allergy medication to buy OTC. I've been on Zyrtec for yrs. and it isn't helping me. I am prone to sinus infections. My sinuses gets stuffed up easily. My face gets itchy, especially 2 area that itch constantly and stay red and irritated. Ihave used hyrdocorsine on the area but it burns. I occasionally get welts on my chin and neck areas.

I've had allergy testing done numerous times so i know what my allergys are but i don't know what causes my face to get irritated.

Itchy face can actually be a hay fever symptom. It happens to me.

The strongest allergy medication is benadryl, but it causes drowsiness.

Have you tried Claritin? (loratidine is the generic) It can take a couple weeks to start working if you are already having symptoms, but it might work well for you.
 
I do a corabo of things. I agree Benadryl is one of the best. I also take allegra but I do believe that is a prescription. But taking both seems to help me keep things in control. Sorry you are feeling bad and I hope you can find something that works for you! Good luck!:)
