""Dr. Robert Haley, chief of epidemiology, writes in the March issue of
the journal Medicine that tattooing has been previously overlooked as a
widespread source of hepatitis C, a potentially fatal disease that attacks
the liver, leading to cirrhosis and liver cancer. It affects 2 percent of
the U.S. population. Most importantly, we found that commercially
acquired tattoos accounted for more than twice as many hepatitis C
infections as injection-drug use, "Haley said. "This means that it may
have been the largest single contributor to the nationwide epidemic of
this form of hepatitis."

I think you would enjoy parts of Europe once you got there, Lee. Of
course, you'd be booking a return trip on the ship since you can't
swim back and you don't want to fly. If you port in/near a major
city, you wouldn't need to do much traveling by land except to get
into city center. After that, you'd walk everywhere. Not trying to
change your mind, just sayin'.

How true...after a mid-winter vacation someone asked me what I thought
of Honolulu, to which I replied..."Same as any other large city in
North America", "seen one you've seen them all"...except it was
warmer.

Yeah, really, Paris and Rome are just like San Francisco, or even Miami or
Honolulu.

Smoking is not allowed in hotels here. Or any public places for that
matter. Most of the hotels we have stayed in over the past 10 years or so
have been non-smoking. Some gave the option of smoking or non-smoking
rooms.

Julie, learn how to use your killfile and do so when a person becomes
too personal on you. What they say to others is no different then in
our lives; you can do nothing about what others say to others, but you
can sure do something about them saying to you.

But it's the same "hate"... those who say they "hate" one thing "hate"

any KKK clansman. One cannot "hate" just tattoos anymore than someone
can just "hate" yogurt. Nor can "hate/haters" be argued with because
"hate" stems from profound fear/dread of such depth that it cannnot be
fathomed. "Haters" "hate" *everything*[period]
