The nickel sized oreos. Funny thing is the serving size is eight mini
oreos. WHAT? Ya can't package 4 "regular" oreos? The minis are actually
harder to grasp.

Heck the town bakery made 10x oreo-sized cookies when I was a kid!

And nabisco can't even spell sacks correctly. And what the heck is a
sandwich cookie anyway? Do you put them into your pb&j or BLT?

And WTF decided that 100 calorie packs of crap are a safe margin of
dietary health?

I avoid shopping there as well. I won't say totally because I have found a
couple things that represent a good value, and buy them there, just like I
would any other store. But what I don't understand is why people flock there
like sheep and treat it as their default source for everything they need or
want.

My GF shops there more than I ever would because she has tethered herself to
their pharmacy (that's a whole other story of how they manipulate pharmacy
customers), but she has a mantra... nothing with moving parts, plugs, or
batteries. From what I've seen that is very good advice for all.

ObTP: If you have a Fred Meyer near you, their store brand tp is the
best value I've found. 12 double rolls for $4.89 is the regular price
and it is sometimes available on sale. A couple weeks ago, it was on
sale (it had been repackaged) for $3.99.

My biggest beef when I first noticed downsizing was with Shredded Wheat.
I used to get the large size that had 24 biscuits wrapped in threes and
stacked 8 high inside the box. The had reduced the contents to 18
biscuits and were packing them on their sides, two across and three
high. The result was that the front of the box was the same size so it
looked like the old size.
