I might have been dreaming, but I though I saw pictures of parts of the torpedo that sunk the boat on the news.

I don't think we'd have to take North Korea. We would just assassinate their leadership and tell them they can become South Korean citizens and enjoy a 10x improvement in their standard of living. No strings attached.
North Korea would evaporate overnight and we would have a flood of Hyundais and Kias all over the world.

hey look at me, we're North Korea, we've got some fucked up underground world underneath the soil but NO FUCKING FOOD and some weird ass looking empty hotel we can't afford to finish! Go us!

well China and NK are allied but China knows better than to pick up NK's baggage and fight against us

We've already got troops there, but yeah, Japan is likely to be the first in 'en masse (however fucked up that would be)

well... all or nothing, however you want to look at it.

reated in 1948, following the division of the Korean Peninsula by occupying Soviet and U.S. forces, the Republic of Korea Armed Forces is one of the largest standing armed forces in the world with a reported personnel strength of 3,695,000 in 2008 (655,000 active force and 3,040,000 regular reserve).[1]

The ROK Army (ROKA)—the sixth largest army in the world—is by far the largest of the military branches, with 522,000 effectives as of 2008. This comes as a response to both the mountainous terrain native to the Korean Peninsula (70% mountainous) as well as the heavy North Korean presence, with its 1 million strong army, two-thirds of which is permanently garrisoned in the frontline near the DMZ.
It should be noted that the current administration has initiated a program of self-defense, where by South Korea would be able to fully counter the North Korean threat with purely domestic means within the next two decades.

The army consists of the Army Headquarters, the Aviation Command, and the Special Warfare Command, with 11 corps, 49 divisions, and 19 brigades, some 522,000 troops and estimated as many as 5,850 tanks/armored vehicles, 11,337 artillery systems, 7,032 missile defense systems and 13,000 infantry support systems.

This is true, but in this conflict (if one occurs) china's basically saying "You picked this fight nga, you finish it..."

Theres not going to be any war geez. South Korean government already announced they would not retaliate militarily. It's just going to be UN sanctions, if that since China is on the security council.

So, when you interview him, do you have to kiss his "glory" before and after?

The ROK Air Force (ROKAF) is a modern air force, which fields some 600+ combat aircraft of American design. In contrast, the North Korean Army has roughly 1,600–1,700 aircraft, but mostly obsolete types of Soviet and Chinese origin.

Man. Would recommend reading on German reunification. It will be a similar story if South takes over North. 20 years later, West Germany still sends subsidies to the East. There's also still a mental separation.
