according to "some" politicians and people, SK govt went and bought a used torpedo of NK design and blew up the ship in a super complex and hollywood style conspiracy.

another popular story floating around the media is US submarine accidently surfaced on a war ship, splitting it into to parts, then ran away while spreading old torpedo parts and other evidence to clear up a huge accident.

That's the pipe dream of what might happen if NK's gov't were removed, but is it really as simple as all that? unlikely.

Yeah, because every US sub carries a store of old enemies' torpedo parts appropriate to whatever part of the world they're operating in, just in case...

round 1, FIGHT?

and have had nothing to do over the past 60 years but to train with them.

poorly, i might add

USA gets down with nations that don't have WMDs and populated with brown people. Why would USA pick a fight with NK?

show of hands - who's read any type of book on this? who's been to south korea? who's visited the DMZ?

a part of me thinks that hes trying to push the buttons to incite a war, get his country decimated, then have the west rebuild them with an entirely new infrastructure, just like we did for Japan after WWII.

The head of a nation claiming that his nation backs another in a dispute that may very well turn into an armed conflict, is basically saying, yeah, we'll fight with you (or in the case of the United States, substitute "for" in place of "with")

North Korea continues to position forces into the area just north of the DMZ— in a position to threaten Combined Forces Command and all of Seoul with little warning. Seventy percent of their active force, including approximately 700,000 troops, over 8,000 artillery systems, and 2,000 tanks, is postured within 90 miles of the Demilitarized Zone. This percentage continues to rise despite the June 2000 summit. Most of this force in the forward area is protected in over 4,000 underground facilities, out of over 11,000 nationwide. From their current locations, these forces can attack with minimal preparations or warning.

I have an account, I'm just "meh" about buying a sub and most people don't know I'm female anyway

edit: obligatory nudes of wife post?

you don't think that if shit goes hostile, those words won't translate into troops, ships, jets, and bombs?

Doesn't make sense, because he would not be in place at the time of the rebuilding. If he can't reap the benefits, he's not interested.

Wouldn't have done W. Germany any good. The Soviet Union was strong and had lots of support.
North Korea is a shit talking nation that even makes China go
China would be happy to cut NK off like the gangrenous limb it is.
