gabbing, do-nothing pussy farts?"

I thought it was a joke. Some people seemed to think it was negative.

Well, it doesn't.

My wife was teaching a class from 4-6pm, so I made a meatloaf, baked
potatoes and steamed broccoli for dinner. She was appreciative, as was
our son.

I didn't say that. Well, not exactly. I thought it would be obvious I
was fantasizing since in all my years I have never told RFC as a whole
to do that (just certain people on a on-to-one basis). And I don't
even have to LIVE next to RFC.

But you have to admit that most of us have thought something similar
about this group as a whole, but few actually say something like that
(whatever did happen to 'Steve B', anyway? Did he finally bail
completely?).

We visited the upscale, stuck-up, fashion and fufu mall here in Austin
(AKA, "The Domain") and had dinner at CPK. Wedge salad, Korean Tacos
(with Korean-style sriracha), and a white pizza with added mushrooms.

In other words, you and your alcoholism/drug habit inherited this

Gotcha. Bitch.

Sounds like the HOA is voluntary. If it wasn't, you'd be singing a

Back when I had an HOA, I was pretty happy with them. They kept the
common areas well-maintained. They paid the water bills and the
garbage-collection bills. They put a new roof on my house. When my
house was broken into while I was overseas, they got a contractor out
that very night to put plywood over the demolished glass door.

Must suck to have a crappy HOA like yours.

Doesn't sound that way at all. Jill stated, several times, that she has
been sending money to the HOA since 2008. Also, that she has received
ballots to vote for HOA officers. It sounds to me like the HOA has set
up some clubs. That doesn't mean that the HOA itself is voluntary.

Bewildered is a good word because you appear to be completely bewildered. I
don't know how to explain this to you. HOA's and Mailing Lists are two
totally different things. I can see why Steve's original post could dredge
up some confusion, but then he did mention HOAs. But The HOA sent me a
letter stating it's in the bylaws I am required to join a club. (BTW, they
do occasioanally waste postage but usually it's just someone driving around
on a golf cart putting this stuff in the little slot under the mailbox.)

My wife once went down the streewt, bought a different brand of new car,
drove it to the dealership and showed it to the foolish salesman who
said something like that. Did I mention that my wife rules? And that I
don't think i'm biased on this particular point? Yup. I'm biased on a
lot of points when it comes to my excellent wife. Not on this point.

Oh. I doubt they're "insisting". She's getting the same news letter
everyone else is getting. Oh well, it's easy enough to tear up the
envelopes and not even look at the contents.
