No, not drinking. Drinking makes me nicer. I can't stand folks who
put that shit all over themselves and stink up entire buildings.
People who do that are selfishly polluting the air that everyone has
to breathe.

I don't put anything all over myself. I do use perfume but I use it
sparingly.

But Julie goes around inflicting her stink on people almost every day.
She intrudes on folks personal space too, except in the few--but
hopefully more every day--places that ban people who intentionally
stink of perfume, and think they've got a right to decide what smells
good.

---

I happen to like most perfumes. There are a few I am allergic to. Yes. I
was given some as a gift that I wound up having to throw away. It couldn't
be taken back because it was actually a case of samples that my mom got from
the daughter of a friend who was giving them out at the mall. My mom did
buy them from her.

I didn't dare give them out to people at work which is what my mom suggested
that I do with them. Just being around them made me sneeze my head off. So
I tossed them.

I am certainly not one of those people who leaves a trail of perfume behind
me. I did once work with one of those women too.

No. But if it says it is produced on the same lines as our allergens, I'd
be a fool to buy whatever it is! Obviously *you* don't have food allergies
so you don't know.

Oh! The *best* foods? And just what are those?

It happens..... occasionally. It is much more of a problem with obese
people. According to an LA times article on this issue, a man with a BMI
between 30 and 34.9 has a 40% higher risk of pneumonia than a man with a
normal BMI. Men with a BMI over 50 are twice as likely to get pneumonia.
This guy was 6'*' and weighed 572 lb., a BMI of 62.8.

He talks as thought he has been following me around. But I know he hasn't.
I would notice someone as ugly as that if he were behind me.

I was in Trader Joe's about a week ago, and there
was another customer headed toward the only open
checkstand. I could have walked ahead of him, but
that seemed to me impolite. But he was walking so
slowly. He wasn't exactly walking. He must have
been at least 400 lbs, and he was sort of waddling.
I was so tempted to ask "Can't you waddle a little
faster?".

I mentioned the incident to my friend Cindy, and
she reminded me of another incident a little over
a year earlier when we were travelling together
on Southwest Airlines. They had just had some
incident in the news involving some really fat
passenger, and while we were in line I told one
of the Southwest employees "I support your policy
of no fat people". Cindy says that there were some
really fat people in line, both in front and behind
us, and she was very embarassed. I don't have much
memory of that incident, because I was drinking
heavily at the time.

I like women's scents and the only one I can say is too strong is
Jasmine. I hate men's colognes though. They smell cheap and reek to
high heaven.

There's one on your side of the Bay too, but it's not any closer. It's in
Palo Alto. (I went there once because they had a discontinued item which I
wanted, and the Emeryville store was out.)

BASIC CHICKEN PICKLE

Yeah, all caps.

Cut up some chicken. Add too much vinegar. Deep fry. Then select your
pickle jars. At that point, I closed the window.

Next time just take Bryan's word for it. :-)
