I came across a strange news article in a local newspaper this evening.
Someone broke into a house in a nearby city and stole among other
things, the owner's artificial leg.
The stolen leg is a tan colour with no designs on it. At the time of the
theft, there was a black shoe on the artificial limb. It seems that he
took a sleeping pill and his son woke him up, at which time he
immediately realized the leg was missing, along with a wallet containing
$600. He thinks that his son's friends are the culprits.
The funny part ...."The stolen leg is a tan colour with no designs on
it. At the time of the theft, there was a black shoe on the artificial
limb."
I guess they needed a description so that anyone finding this artificial
leg would not confuse it with all the other stolen limbs lying around.
