I can see Kate Winslet winning one in the future as she's been nominated a few times for Best Actress.

Tom Cruise and Leonardo Di Caprio haven't won any yet I don't think...
 
Emily Watson- she should be a 2 time oscar winner by now, one for Breaking The Waves in 1996 and another for Hilary And Jackie in 1998

Edward Norton- should have won an oscar for American History X

Johnny Depp- should have won an oscar for Ed Wood, it was absolutly ridiculous that he didnt even get a nomination for it
 
Michelle Pfeiffer aint that great IMO, although I think Julianne Moore should probably have gotten something by now.

A lot of deserving people in that list. Especially when you compare them with a lot of the people who HAVE won...

Hard to single anyone out, but I really like Glenn Close and Ian McKellan. :) Annette Benning I also LOVE - but I've only seen her in 'American Beauty' and 'Mars Attacks'. Does she still make movies?
 
i've heard the Oscar has been considered the 'kiss of death' for some careers...
haven't seen kevin spacey in anything decent since he got his for 'american beauty'
or julia roberts

hope the curse doesn't extend to helen mirren! :eek:
 
Kevin Bacon has never been nominated.

Peter O Toole is now officially the most nominated actor in oscar history with no win.

8 noms, he held the record previously with Richard Burton ..7 each, now he holRAB this dubious record all alone. Id be very surprised if he ever wins one at this late stage in his life.
 
I'll put my house on Joaquin Phoenix...he's not 'academy material' i.e he's not pretty, but talent will out! Probably within the next five years.

Kate Winslet has got to win one soon, same for Johnny Depp

Think Michelle Williams has a real chnace of winning a supporting oscar one day if she chooses her roles carefully.
 
The two which stand out like a sore thumb for me are ..

Edward Norton - Lost out both times in 1997 (Primal Fear) and 2000 (American History X).

Ralph Fiennes - Lost out both times in 1994 (Schindler's List) and 1997 (The English Patient).

How Ralph didnt win an oscar for Schindler's List I will never know.
