I want to jump in the conversation and find out what's the big deal about the OS 4.5? I just upgrade my bb desktop mgr to the 4.3 version and i did not much difference beside the background color.
Also, is Tmo getting the Bold? or ATT is?
 
Although the rumor sounds good, I wouldn't get too excited.
The software for the TMO wing was supposed to be out at the beginning of December. It was just released last month.

Wheels on the TMO bus turn slowly.
 
Why are people so hung up on using their carrier's OS??? I know for TMO, they have to wait because no one has officially released the 8320's 4.5....so that I understand. However, you can use anyone's OS as long as it's for your model...just an FYI...additionally...TMO customers....especially those new to this group....4.5's "official" release by ANY carrier (including TMO...has been rumored to be released for the last year almost...it was first announced in Septmember!!! Don't get your hopes up!

And 4.5 doesn't give you "more" or "less" controll of your device...just changes some options...I have no idea what that poster was meaning, but there is the clarification on his post.

You don't neccesarely need to download just att, you can upload any device software on your phone as slong as you follow the set of instructions found on these site.. http://blackberryforums.rabroad.com/showthread.php?t=76641
 
Oh yeah and to clear any confusions.. RIM is releasing BIS upgrade the 28th (Blackberry Internet Service) than means that those that are running OS 4.5 will be able to view their email in native HTML just like you would on a regular internet browser on your pc vodacom already released theirs this weekend and it schedule to be released for US this next weekend then our carrier will have to make the necessary changes so I don't think the official release for 4.5 is too far off.
