I was wondering what the maximum magnification is that I can use with my Orion XT10. Orion says that it is 300X but will a barlow lens change this so that I can use 600X? I would like to be able to see the disk of Neptune but I believe that I need around 500X magnification. Would I be wasting my money on buying an eyepiece that will give me such high magnification?
