Amos Ch 5 v 8 says "Seek him who makes the seven stars & Orion" and Orion is mentioned in the Bible in Job Chapter 9 v 9 and Ch 38 v 3 and whilst there are lots of references to stars in the Bible as a whole Revelation Ch 1 v 12-13 refers to "the son of man in the midst of the seven stars". There was a bright star about at the time of Christ's birth and a suggestion in Revelation Ch 22 v 16 that Christ is "the bright and morning star". The Pleiades Orion constellation has rainbow colors associated with it and the Bible has God's covenant with mankind symbolized with a rainbow and in the apocalyptic book of Revelation we see in Ch 4 v 3 and Ch 10 v 1 references to rainbows or sometimes in other parts of the Bible "bow". It is interesting to note that the rainbow usually presents itself when referring to the throne of God or the Son of God.
