caesar needs help

my xbox is modded and it connects to the internet via linkboks BUT!! will not connect to the network that my computer has setup, now just so everyone know y xbox has not been blocked from the internet cause i can go on the internet but it wont connect to the network (a network is where all computers connected to a server/modem can share files) so i can share files.
if anyone has this all figured out and has networking and files transfering please help, if you dont know what the problem is could you please tell me the settings you have set on xbmc networking settings.
