Original Ring tonight (30/03/05)

The original Japanese Ring is on Channel4 tonight at 00:10PM followed by the original Ring 2 tomorrow night at the same time. Good one channel4! always want to see the originals and that way i can watch the original Ring 2 before i see the new remade one.
 
I'll be watching them again.

Channel Four showed both original versions of Ring and Ring 2 in the same fashion the end of 2003.

The US version of Ring 2, is not the same as the original Ring 2.
 
Yes, both of them are good, as I said above they were on Ch4 in 2003, so I watched and recorded them then. Also HMV were selling them off for around
 
Sorry, I inadvertantly called Ring 0 Ring 3.

Still don't get why they aren't showing it though

Although technically Rasen is ringu 3....
 
Does anyone remember when they first showed it, and they gave away the ending just before it started in an "introductory programme".

i saw a film called Ring. Had a similar theme, i.e dodgy picture, fuzzy acting and a crap picture. Only it involved people trying to get INTO a dark hole :-)
 
I stayed up to watch it, after hearing about how the Japanese version was far scarier than the US remake.

Where?

Ok, I get the story - seer has a daughter, with abilities to kill with a look, fathered by a sea goblin? Her lover the professor kills said daughter by flinging her down a well, a curse follows.

Not a bad story in itself, but where was the horror?

The only odd bit was at the end when she came out of the TV.

All that black hair and a creepy eye, I thought it was The Grudge.

2/10. Garbage.
 
Can I just ask when the ex husband is sitting on a bench and he sees a pair of female legs and feet stood in front of him and he says 'Was it you?' and then he looks up and she's disappeared, what was that about?
