Order of the Phoenix Review

I would have given anything to be in the position of any one of those people given the chance to preview OotP!

NATURALLY-SPOILERS BELOW!

But still the first reviews are out-most are raving about Evannah Lynch, Imedla Staunton and Helena Bonham Carter. And Daniel is being praised for imrpoving as an actor. Screen time for Emma and Rupert i believe is poor-but it is called "Harry Potter and the..." as long as the trios relationship exists im happy.

One thing i will say though that annoyed me.
Reports of the final scenes being changed. The prophecy reworded and other little things.

Cho being the sneak doesnt bother me at all-it works well enough.

One thing we have to remember is any changes would have been approved by Jo to an extent to obviously not important to plot.

I wont judge movie yet though-obviously i aint seen it-but i always judge it as a movie not as "the book on screen" thats wrong. I hate people who do that. Changes will be made, plots will be dropped. Not the end of the world!

No, it's not the end of the world, it's inevitable that some things will be lost and some changes made. But comparisons will always be made, people have high expectations, especially with a series of books as huge as HP. It is "the book on screen" - there's no escaping that!

Regarding the reviews, I read one here: http://www.aintitcool.com/node/31770. I'm looking even less forward to Grawp.

Yea i know what your saying with the whole book on screen!
I know i do it too where i say the book is better sometimes but then realise i should judge the film on its own merit.

I read that review indeed-awful-mediocre writing  idiot.
Anyway the fact a non-book-fan with little knowledge gave it b+ is positive!

Shame about grawp indeed-he sounRAB poor in that review. Generally though ive heard the graphics added will make him rival gollum. But also most say that his introduction is too long or something! Shame really as i like the whole grawp/hagrid story!

I found the Grawp segments boring in the book and was hoping he'd be cut out of the film, or at least only feature briefly... ah well, the graphics will probably be great and it might turn out well, I'll reserve judgement until I see it.

I agree with the mediocre writing on that review - using 'pussy', 'badass' and 'awesome' to describe Harry just doesn't fit somehow!

Well yea to a certain extent i do skip the hagriRAB tale chapter now when re-reading but still hes a good enough character to feature-but like you said in small amounts.

With regarRAB to the review-it itself is mediocre writing but i was actually refering to how he said he doesnt read the books as he thinks JK ROWLING IS A MEDIOCRE WRITER -basically the books are rubbish!
Why do these people have the luck at being chosen!!

Doesnt it just!!
The things that sound great are perfect and the things that need improving...well thats the point of these test screenings isnt it-to find out and improve!! hopefully!

So if Grawp's in the film, then maybe he has a bigger part to play in the last book, since he's hardly in HBP...maybe he kills Hagrid!

I thought that too - well, not the killing Hagrid part! :D But something as expensive and possibly jarring as a CGI giant would surely only be kept in if it was important to the plot as a whole.

Oh yes sorry I see what you mean, I forgot that part. She's arguably not a literary great, but she has an amazing imagination and she's brilliantly witty - that's good enough for me!

I know, doesn't seem fair somehow! I suppose it's good to get a cross-selection of people, rather than those that will only gush and admire.
