So basically, I bought The Orange box in Singapore and activated it on Steam and since moving to Australia have found out it is invalid and region locked, so I buy the Orange Box again from an Australian store and install it on Steam, (After deleting Sg versions local content) and get an error message:
The game was activated with a product code that is valid only in a specific geographic region. Since you are not currently in that region, (Game from Orange box name here) is not available to play.
Anyway I contact bloody steam and they say I need to create another account, which means buying Garry's Mod, Counter-Strike Source and having to switch accounts to play different games.
I wouldn't really mind but I get 5 bucks a week in pocket money and find what Steam Support suggested to me completely ludicrous. The bastards won't un-suscribe me so what do I do? Is there a way I can delete the game (yeah I looked it up, doesn't seem bloody likely) or AT LEAST change the CD KEY so I can play Garry's Mod. I find this a flaw in the system and if nothing is done about it, complain to whoever is the boss of that kinda thing.
