Oral sex on the first date?

I know it's controversial to have intercourse on a first date, but does the same scrutiny apply to oral sex as well?

I ask because I went on a date, there was chemistry both physical and emotional, we spent a good amount of time simply cuddling and kissing then, after a nearly twelve hour date (Yeah, seriously... Lots of cuddling... ) it finally progressed to having oral sex. Should I be concerned that this was a deal breaker for a second date and possibly a lasting romance?
 
Its not "bad" but you probably should think about how serious oral sex is to you. Thats pretty serious for me and I would not have wanted things to progress that far b/c I wouldnt know the individual/LOVE the individual yet....

Might be a deal breaker though if you guys dont have a talk about where you want this relationship to go. Theres no turning back once you cross lines like that. Since youve already had oral sex its unlikely youll go back to "just cuddling"

I would slow things down big time if you want this to really be more than just a physical thing
 
Its easy to let our hormones over take us, but yes oral sex on the first date may show you as an easy target for a good time.

Whether or not you'll get a second date or last romance....Time will tell won't it?
 
It's a date. A date means he is not your boyfriend OR your husband. Hm... so some guy that your not committed to NOOONEE at all you give oral sex? Um.. sorry to break it to you but your crazy!
 
I don't think there should really be a rule. Sometimes feelings can be really intense and if you feel that connection with someone and it gets to that point why should that be a bad thing?
 
me and my girlfriend had sex after 4 hours of meeting and we are still together and everything is great like any relationship put your all into it and thats all you can do good luck and hope it works out for you
