Options other than college?

I' am 17 and living in the UK. I' am in my second year at a very academic college at the moment mainly because i felt forced to go there and i' am not enjoying my lessons i have tried countless different courses but i just know that college is not for me right now however i' am not stupid and i know how important education is. So heres the problem i want to drop out and do something else maybe something where i can work and get the qualifications at the same time? Is that possible?
 
Yes it is possible. It may even be easier than you think. I don't live in the UK though. Since you're smart then you know to do you research first. Set yourself up for success. Meanwhile maybe you should change your direction of study.
