I'm planning on starting road cycling, with a view to race with my college Cycling Squad. I'm 6"1, weigh 200lbs and have been offered a 2009 GT GTR Carbon Sport bike at my local shop for $1700 (reduced from $2200). I was wondering if this seems a good deal? It certainly seems so to me, but that could just be the impression I got from the salesman! The specs are here:

Main points being a full carbon frame, shimano 105 set and a ritchey handlestem. I'm planning on heading back soon and testing it out but I wanted to see if it was a good bike for the price!
