Opinion on Army Civil Affairs?

What is everybodys opinion on Army Civil Affairs? Especially members of the military? I hear that they are somewhat special operations is that right?

Thats what those guys were in Three Kings, right? (except for Clooney) They seemed okay. Go for it.
