opinion: better phone on cricket- voyager or glyde & why?

im switchin to cricket, and I refuse to use one of their phones, so im gonna do the flash thing & use a verizon or sprint phone. what I wannna know is which phone is better for cricket, the samsung glyde or the lg voyager. mostly for texting & internet.

And before you decide you're going to flash, make sure you're not in a AWS market. At this point I actually wouldn't get a non-AWS phone because if you go to an AWS only Cricket or Metro area you won't be able to make unlimited calls.
 
The glyde is a TERRIBLE touch screen phone. Do not, and I repeat, do NOT use that phone. You'll have less headaches with the voyager.

Also, check to see if your in an AWS market like kpopgrrl said cause if you're not you've GOT to use one of cricket's (or metro's) phones.
 
thanks for the replies guys. but what exactly is AWS? and how do I find out if im in that area or not and which phones are/are not AWS? I might get the touch-pro from us cellular, is that an aws phone??
 
Ok, so I found out that I am in an AWS only market. So does that mean I can only use cricket or metro pcs phones?? There are no other phones that are aws???
 
thanks for the help guys. I guess ill just scoop up one of the qwerty phones from cricket, and rock it out until they either get some cool phones or t-mobile & at&t get some affordable plans.
