Opera Working With The Rogers 15 Unlimited Plan!!!!

Hey guys just wanted to ak a quick question, I have the 8310 with Rogers 15/Unlim plan the rogers wap or BB browser do not work, I downloaded an older Version of opera MIni changed my TCP settings to the ---- internet.com wapuser1 wap and now it works!! My question is will I be charged Data for this?? Rogers told me that Online Browsing WILL NOT WORK!? But Opera does?? Can someone please let me know?? Thanks Very mUCH!!!
 
while this find is relatively new, people in another forum have already stated that they have receied their bill and were not charged. I myself changed to this servoce last week and will have to wait til the end of the month to verify this myself
 
Isnt there a way that Rogers Can find out?? Like I said when I talked to the Rogers Agent he said that with the 15 Unlim plan that ALL INTERNET WOULD BE SHUT OFF> I asked him if I would be charged for any internet usage, he told me its impossible to connect with the 15 plan. Also the only way that I got opera mini ver. 3 to work is if i changed the TCP settings!

by plugging in your APN settings, I believe you are at a high chance of getting charged for the data that you are using, now that you have 2 tunnels in which you can access data through. The users using opera with the email plan have not been setting their APN, and can still access the internet. This is/was how the loophole worked, since you technically only have 1 tunnel to channel through, but still have access to opera.
 
Great News everyone!

I just looked at my bill today and I have no extra charges for using Opera with the $15 BB email plan.

My bill also says that I used just over 10 MB of data.

P.S. - Even though I wasn't charged, don't blame me if you do
 
Does Opera work better with the trackball now? I remember being very annoying to use and it felt like it was still for old blackberries with the side-scroll.
