My earlobe was split after a nasty fall; I received several stitches and the doctor removed the sutures about 4 days ago. However, the back tip of the earlobe is not fully closed (with a small gap) and still hurts when I apply the anti-bacterial ointment over it as suggested the doctor. Is there any concern here? Will it keep hurting?
