Hey, I haven't found myself posting a whole lot in these forums, simply because I found myself not having anything to contribute or that I would be a goodd e-mentor compared to some others in here!

Anyways, recently I've been having a really shitty time, I'm tired, can't see clearly and i've had to take shit from dear friends of mine.

Last week, boss from work came home with an infection in his eyes from Thailand, I didn't think a lot about it untill last monday when I was going to sleep, I couldn't help myself feeling like there was something in my eye, I tried to get it out and it didn't really work very well so I wen't to sleep.

Next day I wake up and I'm smashed red in my left eye, the eyelids were closed half-way and it looked really fucked up. I go to see the doctor on friday because it's still the same (I have been taking care of it, washing it and taking eye-lotion on it) but nothing really helped.
I might say the doctor made me worried intentionally since he took it very seriously, he amost sent me to the emergency central right away, but gave me a subscription eye-drops and told me to come back if it wasn't looking any better on monday.
Now I was supposed to take these every third hour, which I have, but this includes when I'm sleeping, so basically every third hour at night I HAVE to get up. It's been taking a lot of my powers from me and this eye is no better then before, i'd almost say worse.

I was supposed to go to a party last night, I was really looking forward to it because I had not seen these people for almost a year due to my militairy service, but I called in and decline as soon as I knew my eye wouldn't get any better. I really didn't want to put my eye into risk, since I want to see as clearly as i've always been.
Now there was a girl at that party, we've always liked eachother and has been having this "thing" going on, we recently came to the understanding we liked eachother last year, when we suddenly found ourselves in a bed room alone at a party. Back to the stone age.

Basically I called the host of the party that I couldn't come, that I wished I could etcetra etcetra and after I explained to him why I couldn't come it was perfectly fine for him declining the invite so late.
I also felt obligated to tell the girl I spoke of earlier that I couldn't make it to the party due to the circumstances, but she simply would not let herself understand why I wouldn't come and tried to make me feel bad for declining so late, making me feel like a asshole.

Today I got a message from her saying I'm an asshole and its the last message I'll see from her in a while.
:mfinger:

Sorry to hear about your eye.

Not that you asked for advice or anything but honestly, if she thinks you're an asshole for that then it's her problem. Seems a bit immature.

Good luck with the eye, hope it heals up real soon.

I'm so sorry about your eye infection. That really blows!!! I hope you feel better soon.

It sucks that girl could not get over herself long enough to accept you just didn't feel good. Had you hung out with her, she might have gotten your eye infection too. It sounds to me she was only thinking of herself. She thought you weren't coming in because of her or that you should be going to see her under any circumstances unless you are dead in the grave. That's asking too much.

Was it Pink Eye? that's very contagious.

Anyhoo, you did her a favor by not coming in, but she sounds immature and self-centered. You need to find someone that can actually be more understanding of your feelings. Your health is important and you were only trying to take care of yourself so you are well again sooner without giving this infection to anyone else.

Um, any girl that can't understand that you are very sick and have a problem and can't attend a fucking party is not the girl for you.

Well this thing just got worse when I was traveling, I'm in the US right now so I've had quite the difficulties, suddenly I was extremely weak to light, they were all greased up and I couldn't even have my left eye open. So I visited a special eye-doctor, the medication and all the visits so far has cost me a lot of money since im a foreigner and I guess it costs a lot anyway even if you're not.

I had to see 4 different doctors due to the extremely bad condition of my left eye, it's better now but they put me on eye-steroids. Basically the eye-infection can't be solved by medical help, it kinda has to go its course and my body has to heal by itself, due to the condition of my eye the doctor had to put me on medication, (being as weak to the light as I am could seriously hurt my eyesight)

and yeah its very contagious, im suprised they let me in through the boarders since they don't like people carrying around diseases. I guess I was lucky and yet, unlucky since I can't really SEE anything around me.

Sucks.
