Bump. Just finished this series after buying the collection today. Overall I really enjoyed it. I had a smile on my face frequently, and even laughed out loud quite a few times, which isn't common when I'm watching an anime comedy series.
It was refreshing to have an anime comedy that was only interested in making the audience laugh. No forced melodrama or romance, no over-reliance on cultural jokes, just good old fashioned physical comedy, funny facial expressions and animation, fine comic timing, and episodic plots with a simple conflict but executed well (Miki tries to find out her mother's one weakness; Miki is trapped in-between four buildings). And it doesn't even have to succurab to sex to sell it. Wish more anime comedy was like this, honestly.
It's really a shame there was never any dub made for this. While the series doesn't suffer too much because of its absence, I have a feeling an energetic dub would've made a good show even funnier.
