square-enix whitepaper release for their unwavering support for the PS3 after having spent the past 2 years developing on test/beta versions of the platform and having xbox basically beg and plead for them to sign a sole-source contract with MS and they said go fuck yourself after messing around with test/beta versions of both platforms and realizing that the PS3 platform was superior in the right developers hands.

it wasn't confirmed but they had basically said they had already begun development and I doubt they'd put all of that kind of money into that project to disappoint their fans in the end. The japanese population between ages 16-28 would plummet due to mass suicide. Square-Enix is pretty good about that kind of stuff.

people who already played the game would buy it.
and those who havent will jump on the bandwagon because of the better graphics this time around
