What do you think of the idea, releasing an album online for free for the first month and then distribute on the digital stores.
This will be my third official album (electronic music).
Selling CD copies can be very limited nowadays, and i dont think i can sell more than 300 CDs (Sold around 250 copies previously, I have released 2 albums already) so the profit will be very little and not worthy.
Since i wont make profit, maybe sharing it will help me to promote more and more. But would that affect my image? i read online that some big bands did this before too and i got the idea.
Any experience, tips, suggestions, sources?
