one word text messages?

Alright, so i'm talking to this girl. I don't text her first, she usually texts me first. Anyways, she'll text me saying, "hi." or something, then i'll reply and ask about her day, then she just says "its alright." then i'll ask what she do today or something, then she just says "homework." I mean, i'm trying to just have a normal conversation, but she makes it really confusing for me as to whether if she even wants to text or not. I do have interest in her, and she knows, so could that be in play for this? Or is she just playing some stupid hard to get game? After I told her how I felt about her, she just said she's not looking for a relationship right now, and I assured her i'm ok by it. Since then, I don't text her first anymore, its always her, but when I reply, I get one word replies. What the hell is going on?! hahah
