One of two things will happen when QE2 ends in a few months

Two consecutive straw man distortions. If you can't debate an issue honestly, at least learn to use more than one logical fallacy. Maybe get a liberal to teach you how to use a red herring?

you mean 3 trillion in 2 years? deficit spending is inflationary, BUT the rate of inflation we are experiencing for the past 10 years hasn't been abnormal, so your point?

The rising price of gold signifies that investors expect central banks to continue monetizing government debt. The prices of many important things already are rising, and CPI is simply a red herring used to distract unsophisticated voters.
