Crystal Angel
Oh muse, Oh goddess Venus cast your spell!
from morning star of dawn you whisper shush
to sol’s Apollinarian onrush
and grace th’ pentacle anele
upon th’ cleavage of this crystal belle;
with paint of light, th’ oil of life did brush
such magnificent hint of teal in blush.
A glancing bump she totter’d and then fell.
Broken! Bust’ed! Scatter’d in frush
Growling “oh hell, the moment she crash’d
masking the awful knell: then th’ grim hush
Like Raum’s dry tears are th’ fragments now smash’d.
With pain none quell for loss of coruscating angel
swept away and bid unceremonious farewell.
