...for the Moon to complete one..? How many days does it take for the Moon to complete one cycle of phases as viewed
from Earth?

i put 31 days, because it takes a month and some months have 31 days.

well i got the answers on jmap and the answer said between 29 - 30 days

i don't understand how i could be wrong though, do you think i'll get credit for it?

They are asking for the Moon's synodic period, which is 29.530588 days. Calendar months are completely arbitrary and not even a good approximation of the synodic period, which is why the time of Full Moon, say, is slightly earlier each month. So your answer is definitely wrong.
