On the facebook chat is there a way to ...?

On the facebook IM chat thingy , it shows past conversation youve had if you click on someone , but it only shows to a certain point when you scroll up , is there anyway i can see before that point ?! i reallly need to in one of my chats .. if you know a way , please tell me , thanks !!!!
 
No, unfortunately. Facebook doesn't store any chat besides what you can see. If you want to start storing your facebook chats, you have a couple options. You can download apps onto your profile that will allow you to store the chats and look at them later. You can also download an IM client like Digsby that will hook you up to Facebook chat and store your conversations for you.

Unfortunately, neither of these options will allow you to see any chats that have already been erased. I'm sorry, you're out of luck.
