...open up the hood.? I saw a video on youtube and I f what I saw correctly a piece comes off so you can open of the hood with that almost to pry it open is that how ford did it
 
Isn't your truck under warranty? Do you not have an owner's manual? You can get a manual from the dealer or Hemmings.
