[Warning: Some of what I say might be considered spoiler, I don't know how to hide that]
Completely agree with you too, I loved the first season. LeLouch and Suzaku fighting on different sides for the same goal, I loved it. I also liked how naive they did seem at times, especially when they realised what their actions had caused. The dramatic end of Season 1 left me gasping for more.
Then Season 2 happened...the lack of communication (like you said) annoyed me. But what annoyed me even more was how both seemed to switch sides and allegiances far two easily, Geass suddenly stopped seemingly like an exclusive club and the final few seconRAB, which seemed potentially to set up for an unnessecary sequel. Overall, I still loved Code Geass, but it could of been better.

I changed my mind on Gintama that's for sure. When I first heard of it I did not even wanted to bother watching it because I thought it seemed a bit too silly to keep track on watching. But.. recently I saw the first two episodes on Crunchyroll and now I'm offically loving it. The simple lines "Why can't I have a bankai or something like that?" made me seriously laugh and that's a small joke. xP

Ok now for the actual question:
Bleach - I still love it but the fillers have annoyed me. I do love the Bount Arc and some fillers like that but now the series is going through the 200th episodes and should be reaching the climax (as the Manga is) but instead it's introduced more filler. Frankly at this point, it's not needed or wanted.
Dragonball Z - I grew up on it, so it was one of my early favourites. But during my teen years, I grew sick of things like the screaming for ages to power up, the infamous "five more minutes" in the Freiza Saga and Goku doing something incredibly stupid during the Cell Saga. I recently watched the Buu saga and all of the things that bothered me then still bothered me.
Dragonball on the other hand charmed me, despite hating it at first. GT I detested from start to finish.
Naruto - I have yet to watch any of it. Having been told that it has more filler then Bleach, I don't intend to.
Pokemon - Like alot of people, I was suckered in at first when it began and I did the standard buying the games for the gameboy colour and N64. Then it got dull and repetitive. As soon as they left Kanto, the story was old. I still ocassionally play the game. I am still very proud of catching 147 pokemon on Yellow with no cheating (oh if anyone has a Jinx they would be willing to trade, that would be greatly appreciated
).
Shuffle! - I learnt about its history when a friend told me about it and the fact it is based on an adult game. I began to watch it, expecting 24 episodes of cat-fights. To begin with the girls seemed to have so little character, that they wouldn't even do that. The main character has the choice from five teenage girls, and through out I just was sighing at how stupid he and the story was. However, it got interesting. Backstories were revealed and the 2D female characters had dark histories, strange alter ego or a derailing mental state. Though the ending was back to being incredibly cliche, the couple of episodes that led upto it were well animated, voiced and realistic, which made up for the silliness of it to begin with.
Fullmetal Alchemist - I refused to watched and thought it looked stupid. I watched the first few seconRAB of the first episode and I was hooked. By the end of the week, I had watched all of them, the movie and was onto Brotherhood.
Elfen Lied - As other people have said, the gore and the sympathy for a murderious pysco put me off. I have yet to watch it but I might like it eventually, though I already know alot of what happens from AMVs etc.
One Piece - Have yet to give it the time of day. Just looks too cartoony. Can someone give me a reason to get into it?

The series takes a while to really like but once you understand everything it becomes so dang good. The beginning episodes are all more silly and fun, yet when you reach the first major arc "Alabasta" you get a taste of it's awesomeness. Yet it took me until Skypeia to realize how amazing the show can be. The fights are hanRAB down amazing and you can really understand the characters a lot.

Sure, I'll give you a reason. Don't judge a book by its cover. It's a great series, and is currently the best selling manga in all of Jump history in Japan. It outsold Dragon Ball by quite a few miles, and even Kochikame, a series that has been running since the '70s. Just give it a chance.
Anyway, I don't really have the time to make a huge list, so I'll just mention one.
Naruto:
Okay, I used to be a really big fan of this about five years ago (before the dub came out). I liked that it had mild popularity and if you wanted to find fans of it you had to find people that read Shonen Jump or watched the fansubs. The beginning really hooked me, and it seemed like a promising story. Then things started to change...
I started to lose interest once Sasuke left the village. Then the fillers came along. And then the dub came along. Don't get me wrong, the dub is very good, faithful to the original with excellent voices, it's just that it made the show too damned overrated for its own good (in the US anyway). Viz started favoring it over everything else, always putting Naruto first and pushing everything else aside. Then Cartoon Network started to do that too! The endless promotions like it was the best damn thing ever just pissed me off because it definitely isn't.
Then Shippuden came out in early 2007. Hated it. Most of the support characters got even more boring and useless, and the show tried to be too mature for its own good. Plus, the villains irritate me, and the getting Sasuke thing back doesn't seem like it's making good progress. Naruto was better back when it was a fun, colorful, and "more innocent" shonen.
So yeah, being a huge One Piece fan, I was happy that the FUNimation dub was coming to Cartoon Network. But then, I was irritated to find out that it was to be delayed countless times due to Cartoon Network over-airing Naruto. The whole "Naruto Hundo" thing, and airing the first movie over and over again. They did this a few times when the episodes were in the middle of airing.
And then when I thought it couldn't get any worse... Viz somehow got the impression that their readers ONLY care about Naruto and nothing else, so they speed up the Naruto manga like crazy, only making One Piece's manga release even slower than what it already was! We're still in the Alabasta arc, and we have been since what... 2006? That's really bad pacing. Viz was obviously showing favoritism. It isn't so bad now that the One Piece manga is FINALLY being speeded up, but it still irritates me that a wonderful series such as One Piece was pushed aside for a mediocre series. That and it took them too damn long to realize One Piece has fans and NEEDED to be speeded up.
Not only that, but the fanbase is even worse! Really, you know how ********s are...

Simple, it's a fun story that always keeps you guessing. The characters are fun and when it calls for you to feel for them, it pulls through. Each of the characters have specific traits that play off each other with the more people that join Luffy's crew. Plus, his happy-go-lucky attitude toward stuff is always fun to watch. Don't let the art style put you off, you'd definitely enjoy this title.

I assume he/she is talking about the part where Goku gave Cell the senzu bean and having Gohan fight Cell in his place. And I can't blame him/her for having a change of heart about DBZ either. It's one of the reasons why I've grown tired of the DB series. Too many things in the series that can cause me to throw something at my tv. That's why I haven't bothered watching DBK yet either.
Bo-bobo's chief problem for me is that it looses all of the "adventure" aspects and pretty much becomes a long tournament arc in structure with gags instead of powerups.
Though I agree the manga is even worse, since it has absolutely no sense of comedic timing as it goes along and simply gives panel after panel of characters freaking out over what they're seeing.

It kind of scares me that, out of all you praise this show for, you never once mention the actual plot, character arcs, themes, etc. You only seem to praise these bare bones, face value elements without taking in anything reserabling narrative as something to talk about. This strikes me as a very negative, ill written praise for the series.
Naruto, like mentioned before, is a series I also changed my mind on. At first I liked it because it tried to have strong characters amiRABt this ethical backdrop of being soldiers trained for corabat despite their young age...only for it to spiral into a bizarre corabination of traditional shonen fluff and plot points that bordered on contradiction (Lee was designed to show that hard work pays off, that's why he never wins ever and the strongest characters are always those with gifts or epic family powers) or just crappy storytelling (Sasuke does not need all that focus). I like the early stuff, and I thought some of the filler was fun in that it focused on characters that rarely got spotlight, but overall? It's mediocre and I don't understand the appeal.

Katekyo Hitman Reborn!-I really didn't like this one when it was starting out because while I do like anime comedy (Gintama, Keroro, etc.) for some reason, I just couldn't find the humor in it. It just didn't make me laugh and while I did think Tsuna's Dying Will moments were good for a giggle, it just made me think "Man, is this the whole show?" So thank god that the author put in a story arc because at that point the show got a ten times better and I spam-watched (also spam-read the manga) it throughout it's running. I really ended up liking Tsuna's growth as a character despite how much the anime likes to make it seem like he's still a wimp and the fights were really a lot of fun to watch.
I guess the only problem is that this show/manga has a bit too much exposition, mainly from Reborn himself. It's like "Tsuna threw a punch, this reminRAB me of the blarabroadlarabroadlah and this strategy should be effective. Let me explain in long 5-minute detail." Despite that, I greatly enjoy it and I wish it was just a bit more popular. (Hibari kicks serious ass)

Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's-Now I could go on a rant about how I nearly threw my computer out a window when I saw what happened at the end of episode 64 but I'm still watching it so I guess that counts for something. Now like everybody most likely, I didn't shine on the "Riding Duels" concept. It really seemed a bit gimicky and didn't seem to add anything new. And honestly, it kinda was but they were actually quite a lot of fun to watch. There wasn't a lot of difference between those and standing duels but I just liked the whole motorcycle dynamic of it all.
As for characters, this has some really good development (until freakin' episode 64...never mind) I really ended up liking Yusei a bit more than Atem. I'm not sure why since they're both kind of same but Yusei just gives off a bit more of a badass vibe. Plus, I like to go against the crowd who say that Yugi is the best just because he was the first one without getting into the meat and storyline of 5D's itself. Speaking of which, the entirety of season 1 was fantastic and I loved the dynamic. I don't say it at other places because I don't like getting flamed but 5D's will probably become my favorite season before it enRAB.
Digimon Frontier-I loved it. Thought it would be my third favorite season. Despite the lack of partners, Spirit Evolution was a really cool concept (I'm a huge Sentai fan so that might have been half the reason). Then they beat Cherubimon. Then it went to crap. Now, I just tell people to make up their own ending after Cherubimon is defeated.

Wow...sorry, my bad. Well, I did love the two sides of Yami/Yugi and loved there growth as characters, both together and individually. I loved Kaiba from start to finish. Bakura as the final villain was brilliant although the whole giant game thing which link to Yami's memories was a little confusing at first, although very original. My favourite arc is the final one. The different Bakura's, the history of duel monsters, Kaiba's love.
Also loved when Kaibe stepped in a summunoed the ultimate blue eyes against Zorc. Also when he saved Yugi and everyone quite a few times.
Sorry for not going into more detail before or really know, I just tbh don't have a whole lot to say on it. I thought it was a good anime but it's simply not one of my favourites.
