on photoshop where can i go to make my name?

how to do this thingy for myspace i have photoshop and how can i mkae my name like whatever i want to i keep seeing videos of it to make whatever you want but i dont see the thing to create please help?.[:
 
In the tool box (the icons on the left side near the top) click the T icon, it opens the text menu at the top and opens another layer for the text.
