The thing is, my work provides NO benefit for daycare. This is actually the amount pulled out for my flexcare spending account for daycare. My tax program says I should put the amt in box 10 in their program, but this reduces my refund drastically. This is incorrect right?? I think my work made a mistake. Using a flexcare account should not penalize you on your childcare credit right??Does anyone agree?
The software does file a 2441 form, the thing is, Is it likely incorrect that they have this information of $5000 listed in this box? I don't think I should fill this in because it is wrong.
