On Climate Change: Since heavy snow equals more precipitation?

yeah thats it, its warmer so its snows more, it snows when its cold,

water evaporation happens eveywhere in the world, your thinking that the polar caps are melting and all that ice goes into the atompshere and then its snows, because its the earth is getting warmer?

there is something like 326 million trillion gallons of water on the planet just a rough guess, 70% of the earth is covered in water. then there is all that extra water locked up in plants and things like you and me, if a person is 100 pounds then 65pounds of that person is water.

back to the snow, its snowing because its cold, simple fact, if we were really getting warmer then why is it so cold, if the snow melts then why would it snow, instead of rain,

As a "con" I don't necessarily disagree with "climate change", My problem is with it being man made and if Cap and Trade would do anything to stop or slow it down enough to make a difference. From the data I have seen cap and trade would do nothing to slow or stop it, it would just be huge redistribution of wealth on a global scale. Also, there are some huge benefits to the warming of the earth that need to be looked at also. I just don't trust gov. to fix anything as they have not done to well at fixing anything so far. In fact, most of what they try to fix only gets worse and ends up costing the tax payer more and more.
The other thing you need to look at is the El nino which has produced this snow fall and weather. This year is not proof that global warming is a hoax, but with all the data we do have, and with the revelation that the data has been minipulated to make it look worse than it is, I think more information, this time correct information, needs to be looked before we start a world wide redistribution of wealth program that may not make a tinkers dam* of a difference.

One inch of rain equals ten inches of snow. El Nino is responsible for the on-going westerlies and pacific storms crossing the US. The El Nino is an anamoly in ocean water temperature oscillation in the Pacific resulting in warmer equatorial waters. Science can not tell us if this phenomenon is new, but it is now varifiable with infra red satellite imagery. Few would suggest cold water influences an El Nino year, but science can't say El Nino wasn't around a thousand years ago.

Let me see if I have this right.
If it's hot, dry and desert conditions,it's proof of global warming.
If it's cold and snowy it's proof of global warming.
Is that about right?

Well, your lib buddy (Reality has a liberal bias) keeps going around on here ranting about how Vancouver needs to import snow this year

Is that proof of global warming too?

Yes, in fact the snow storms we have had recently are the product of "El Niño" a phenomenon were the normally cool waters of the Pacific turn warm every four years.

Nothing to do with Climate Change one way or another.
