My grandpa told me this story. When he was 17 years old, he lived in a small city calledMil likenn in Colorado. One night, he and his cousins were getting drunk and having a good time. Then, he explained, they heard a knock on the door. This was about midnight.
At first they thought is was the police, since they were making a lot of noise. They opened the door only to find a man. The man looked rather odd, he explained.
The man told them that he was looking for someone that they call "El Diablo" or "The Devil". They replied in Spanish that they knew no one that went by the nickname Diablo. So the man excused himself and the crazy night went on.
Around 3:00 am, the man came back looking for someone nicknamed "El Diablo" again. They were getting frustrated and explained to the man that there was no Diablo there. Then, one of my grandpa's cousins dropped a can. He was picking it up and saw that the "man's" feet were hooves.
My grandpa's cousin freaked out and the "man" laughed in an odd way. The man, said my grandpa, got on all four legs and started running like an animal. My grandpa, until this day, cannot explain what that thing was.
