an explored region of space to investigate an unknown force field. It was hoped that, if the acceleration of the probe could be determined, then Newton's second law F= ma would give info about any forces present. The probe was launched with an initial velocity Vo at time t=0 and its velocity was monitored as a function of time.
What is the equation that relates the probe velocity to its time of flight? Use variables v for velocity and t for time.
Time: 1, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0
Velocity: 81.4, 75.6, 69.8, 64.0, 53.0, 52.4, 46.6, 40.8, 35.0
